Scoliosis, hip and knee pain · 1 year

Marlene’s transformation

Idiopathic scoliosis since her teens, with monthly migraines and long-running hip and knee pain. After a year of training she reports the migraines gone and both pains down to one or two out of ten.

★★★★★

“I've trained with Bree for over a year now and she has really helped me understand my body and its limitations and how to solve for them. She adapts the exercises to my capabilities. Training with her has reduced my pain and I'm starting to see an improvement in my scoliotic posture.”

The changes

One year: scoliosis, hip and knee pain

Marlene is 62. She has had idiopathic scoliosis since she was a teenager, and through her adult life she has dealt with severe migraines on a monthly basis, knee pain and hip pain.

In her initial assessment I noticed a posterior pelvic tilt and an anterior hip shift, and how it was limiting her movement.

After one year of training Functional Patterns, she reports an elimination of migraines, a reduction in knee pain from 7/10 to 1-2/10, a reduction in hip pain from 7/10 to 0-1/10, and a clear improvement in her posture and movement.
